double narrowing How to use restrictive clauses in one sentence twice? For example, "I verified all components that are components of the system and that had been added on October". How to express the same with a more short sentence? If I said: "I verified all components of the system that had been added on October" what will the seconds clause "that had been added on October" filter: the system or the components? I'm afraid the people would understand that the system had been added. I want to say that the components had been added, but not the system in general. How can I do it properly?

How about this? "I checked all the system components that had been added in October" Note that I corrected 'on' to 'in October', and changed 'verified' to 'checked'. You verify information to make sure that it is correct, but you can't verify an object - you check objects.
