commission and committee I think both of them can refer to people who are in charge of the evaluation of something. What's the difference between these two words? Thank you!!

Commission = A group of people entrusted by a government or other official body with authority to do something. The key words are "government", "official" and "authority". A committee is just a group of people appointed by a larger group to do something. Schoolboys can form an organising committee, for example, for the annual Christmas concert.
