What does mean "checked out"? Would you like to write some examples, please? Phrasal verbs are difficult to me (I'm sudying language as a second language).

This expression has a lot of different meanings. One way which it can be used is to leave a building, or a conversation. Examples: I checked out of the hotel. (I left the hotel after paying my bill) I checked out of the conversation. (I left the conversation) -- This can be either physical or mental Another way of use is to borrow something. Example: I checked out the book from the Library. Another way of use is when somebody is thoroughly looking at somebody due to attraction. Example: She is totally checking him out. I think she finds him attractive. Finally, "Checked out" can mean to look into or research something briefly. Example: I checked out the article last night and it looked interesting. I hope this helped :)

It means three unrelated things. You have checked out of a hotel or grocery store after you have paid your bill. Also used at a library. You checked out a topic or a person when you have looked into it ( studied it) a little bit. If a person is checked out, they are disengaged.

Hi! Checked out can be used 2 ways. 1. To leave a hotel 2. To no longer be interested in or paying attention to something Examples: We checked out of the hotel at 10:00 and went to the train station to return home. There are 3 more weeks of school until I graduate but I checked out a long time ago. Hope that helps :)
