I go to sleep and I feel generally better after!

I study. Emotions are subjective and temporary. It's not "normal" to feel happy all the time and it's not "abnormal" to feel sad sometimes either. You suck it up and be productive instead! Unless if you're clinically depressed, then that's a horse of a different color.

Maybe this situation is common to most ladies. I would "isolate" myself temporarily, enjoy foods or sleep.
