If you want me to recommend a topic to write about, I suggest writing about the seasons. It gives opportunity to make use of a lot of basic vocabulary including comparison words. It also allows you to go more in depth and use higher level vocabulary if you want. Color words, clothing words, temperature words, activites, ... the list goes on. Hope this helps :)
