What does 그냥 means?
I'm a bit confuse with the use of the word 그냥. Sometimes I heard it as a first word in a sentence and sometime I heard it as a middle word. What does it means and how to use it in a sentence?

그냥 해봐! = Just try to do it!
나는 그냥 여기 있고 싶어요. = I just want to stay here.
