Does anybody know the meaning of "Finer than frog hair"?
I know it's an idiomatic expression but the meaning remains unclear to me. e.g.if I asked "How are you" and people replied with "Finder than/as frog hair", does it mean "I feel very well" or "just so so"? Also is there anyone know where the expression comes from? Thank you in advance.
PS: It would be better if someone can kindly offer a corresponding translation in Chinese (if any). Many thanks~

I've searched for the phrase in articles (I've never heard or used it either), and it clearly doesn't refer to a person's health.
Maybe definition 6 might fit your context (though I can see about four other definitions that are possible)...

...and in looking up real examples of the phrase, I've found "finer than frog hair split four ways"! :)
