It's hot? What is the difference between using 더워 and 뜨겹다?

더워 is from 덥다 and usually is used to describe weather. 요즘 날씨가 덥다. It's hot these days. 뜨겁다 is used to describe that something is hot or burning like the sun, the water, meal. 이 음식은 아직 뜨겁다. This meal is still hot.
