Simple question, but I appreciate if someone can help point me in the right direction. How do you insert accents above letters in italki? I am learning Spanish, so this will be helpful for me.

That depending if you write with your computer or your phone. On the computer in the keyboard there is a key, you push it before push the letter. On the phone you must keep pushing the letter to choose which accent you want, and also for the letter ñ.

That depends a lot on your keyboard. There one or two keys with the sign of a diaeresis ("accent" is actually the intonation, not the sign) and you will normally have to press the shift key+that key (the one with the sign) and the write the letter. I hope it works (:
