"Lei ed io" o "io e lei?"
In English we use "she and I." It is not proper grammar to say "I and she."
She and I go to the store.
In italiano si dice "lei ed io" o "io e lei?"
Lei ed io andiamo al negozio.
O
Io e lei andiamo al negozio.

Yes, you can perfectly say /io e lei/, /io e lui/, it sounds good in Italian
although it doesn't in English (as far as I know).
Actually this order of pronouns is the mostly often used.
Example:
a. C'era anche Giovanna al concerto ?
b1. Si', io e lei ci siamo andati insieme, ci conosciamo da tempo.
b2. Si` ci sono andato {insieme a, con} lei.

È più corretto dire io e lei andiamo al negozio
Oppure noi andiamo al negozio

io e lei. But really this isn't much used. You can just use "noi" and sounds more natural. Instead, when you are mentioning the name of the person who's with you, you correctly say for example "io e Alessandro siamo andati al bar"

"io e lei" va bene :)
