What do you do in general?
what does "what do you do in general" mean? Plz help :(
Is it the same meaning as "what do you do for a living" or "what do you do as you are free"?

On its own "What do you do?" normally means, what is your job?
You could ask a more specific question like "what do you do with your spare time?"
"What do you do, in general?" is probably a question clarifying a previous question. It may refer in this context to occupation but it's impossible to be sure.
