Do native French speakers use "comme ci comme ça"? When I tried to use this phase to mean "so so" in French, this Frenchman told me: "In France, we don't really use "comme ci comme ça". I find it weird when people keep using it." He is from Marseille btw.

I have limited experience of speaking with native French speakers, but I did use to work with a guy from Paris and he told me this phrase is old fashioned and not many people use it. Kind of like 'how do you do' in English.

Hello, This expression "Comme ci comme ça" is a little bit old-fashioned. It can be better to use "moyen", for example. "how are you? I m so-so" - "Comment vas tu? Moyen".
