You are all set (is this expression common in the U.K?) I am used to hearing this expression in the U.S. I am wondering if it is so used in the U.K. as well and if you know other synonyms.

Hi, "You are all set" is used in the UK and in Ireland too :) A typical example of its use would be Q: Have you packed for your holidays? A: Yes! I am all set and ready to go - Meaning they are fully prepared and ready :) Regards, M :)

This expression is used both in US and UK quite similarly, however, in UK this phrase means to be ready, not finished.
