Different ways to say 'throw' in Chinese! When I was living in China, I noticed how many ways there are to describe a 'throwing' action. I, of course, forgot their differences, so I thought, let's ask somebody to clear things up for me! :) 丟 投 摔 扔 拋 甩 拽 撇 撺 I guess there should be some difference between throwing something from above your head, or from downward to upward, or from the side, or like a bowling ball, or like you throw an arrow in a Darts game, or throwing something on the floor to break it etc. Could someone specify these things for me please ? :D 謝謝大家
