A quastion about the word TAKE. Hello guys. There are two words that confuse the shit of out me -> To take and To give. As I understand when you're taking something you're receiving this. For example 'She took the money from the car and ran away'. To give means the action of passing something to someone, ex. I gave her me phone number, but she lost it. The question is why is the word 'take' used in the expressions like: 1. To take a dump 2. To take a leak You're not receiving something but totally the opposite. Confusing.
