How to say "I have accumulated experience since then"?
So I used it in the following context:
- Have your read this book?
- I have read it.
- Do you agree with the author?
- It was ten years ago. That day I was totally agree with the author. But ***since then I have accumulated experience*** that contradicts with the view of the author.
I suppose I was understood. But did the saying sound good?

I would suggest,
Those days I totally agreed with the author.
Since then, I've gained a lot of experience, and these days I have another opinion, which differs from the writer's point of view.
I hope native speakers will correct my sentences if they don't sound natural.

Your sentence is grammatically correct, but it's part of a bigger document; so there may be a better way of saying what you mean in your context.
