If you can count something, you can use "few" or "many" or "several"
For example, "a few people" or "many people" or "several people"
For things you can't really quantify, use "little" or "much" or "some"
For example "a little time" or "much time" or "some time"
So it's "a little money" or "a few dollars"
"some time" or "several hours"
"much trouble" or "many problems"
I hope that helps.
