"Entry and Entrance" are synonyms of each other. They can be used interchangeably, but they also can be used differently. "entry" is a noun. It is the act of entering something. (place, competition, or a journal) Example 1. They were denied entry into the theater. Example 2. A journal entry can express the results of the experiment. **NOTE: Even though there is an action involved in the entry, it is not a verb. It is not something an individual can do. You can enter a competition but you cannot entry a competition. "entrance" is also a noun. It is an opening of something or an access to.. Example 1. They were denied entrance into the theater. Example 2. The entrance of the museum is located near the statue. **NOTE: You cannot replace "journal entry" to "journal entrance" Assuming this is about computing... "pane" is a noun. It is a section of a window. It is an independent area, but it is usually a sub-view of something larger. Example 1. In the File Explorer, the left pane displays folders and drives. "panel" is also a noun. In general, it is something used to group many parts that are generally related to each other. Example 1. In the Microsoft Control Panel, you can change the settings for Appearance and User Accounts. In my opinion, I'm not sure if I'm correct, an ASSET in the IT Software Industry is the computer software being used by the company's operations. It is something of value, because the company can capitalize it or make profit off of it.
