What's the difference between this two "nice to meet you" translation in Spanish? "mucho gusto" vs "encantada de conocerte"

is the same meaning "mucho gusto" but the first is more formal and the second one "encantada de conocerte" is more emotional

Let me try to translate the two phrases: 1. "mucho gusto" -> "nice to meet you" 2. "Encantada de conocerte" -> "glad to meet you" I use the first one in any situation when I meet new people. But the second is when I meet personaly someone who I'd interested to meet, I mean someone from whom I heard. I actually refer to a personal emotion of being glad

Si, es verdad que tienen el mismo significado...pero yo utilizo más a menudo encantada de conocerte porque suena más natural y a la vez formal. :)
