It depends what the mistake is.
If you say 'He speak English' instead of 'He speaks English', forgetting the 's', we'll understand what you mean.
If you get confused about pronouns and say 'He killed his brother' instead of 'His brother killed him', we'll obviously misunderstand what you mean.
