What are differences between "keep up", "follow" and "carry on"? I don't understand when I need use each of words in the sentence correct.

"keep up", "follow" and "carry on" keep up (with) > to follow the same rate in doing something as another person . Could you stop walking so fast ? I can keep up with you if you continue to do so . I will try to keep up with the leader in front ( in a race) Follow > To do what someone is doing / or to go (from behind) I will just follow whatever he is doing / I will follow him. carry on > to continue again in doing something . After the teacher left the room , the students carried on playing. After failing his exams , he decided not to carry on with his studies
