me think vs I think I came across this post. sometimes me think, "what is friend?" then me say, "friend is someone to share the last cookie with" me think: is it grammatically right? and what's the difference between "me think" and "I think" I guess both are same but there's subtle difference between the two. and it might be very difficult to tell

This is a quote from "Cookie Monster", a lovable monster puppet in the American TV show "Sesame Street". Cookie Monster didn't learn very much grammar, I am afraid, and so you shouldn't regard him as a good example of an English speaker! "Me think" is never right.

This conversation is written in 'pidgin English' or possibly 'baby talk'. The writer is deliberately using poor grammar. 'Me think', 'Me say' and 'What is friend?' are all grammatically incorrect.

The person who wrote that post isn't a native speaker. There are a few mistakes. It should really be: Sometimes I think, "What is a friend?" Then I say, "A friend is someone to share the last cookie with."
