Is there anyone here aiming at taking the Cambridge Proficiency Certificate?
Or is there anyone here who has already passed the CPE...?
If you are either studying for it or have passed it, or if you happen to know someone who is/has, do you have any tips, suggestions etc. with regard to textbooks, preparation techniques and dos and donts...? (Also recommended teachers if the community rules allow us to talk about that...).
Plus, do you think it is worth it?

I passed it many years ago. I do recommend it since it gives you discipline to study like any other exams. It requires practice and in my opinion the best way is to do a lot of mock tests. They sell them, so would recommend you to get a few books with the tests and try.  Learn lots of phrasal verbs and make sure you're comfortable writing compositions.
