the difference between "read out of a book" and "read a book",please
Listening to their classes is like listening to someone reading out of a book. I want to know if it has a big difference between "read out of a book"and "read a book"

To read out of a book means to read out loud. To read a book could be out loud, or just silently to yourself.
So they're saying that the classes are boring -- it's just like someone reading the book out loud to them, instead of talking about the subject and making it interesting.
