Porque portugués es tu lengua materna, quizas puedas leer unas cosas en español para tratar a comprender lo sin estudiar. El vocabulario es muy parecido, no? En mi caso, pude comprender mucho con las palabras en español y inglés que se parecen. Por ejemplo: muchas palabras que se terminan con -tion, terminan con -ción en español. Me ayudaba mucho. :) Since your native language is Portuguese, perhaps you can read something in Spanish to try understand it without studying. The vocabulary in both languages is quite similar, isn't it? In my case, I was able to understand many words in Spanish that were similar to their English counterparts. For example, many words endings in "-tion" in English, usually end in "-ción" in Spanish with similar prefixes as well. This method for recognizing vocabulary helped me quite a bit.
