Boxing Terminology- Spanish
I am going to Cuba to train boxing and I would like to understand some of the terminology at the gym in spanish (preferably Cuban spanish).
Can anyone translate:
- "jab" or "straight"
- "cross" or "right"
- "balance"
- "footwork"
- "sparring"

Hi!
We say also "jab" or "golpe jab", "golpe cross" or "golpe cruzado", "balance" = "equilibrio", "footwork" = "desplazamiento" or "juego de pies", "sparring" can be said the same way, but also "combate de fogueo".
