Is this how you say "really long time no see" in Japanese?
I already know that "long time, no see" is ”久しぶり” but if I want to express the phrase not only more formal, but to emphasize that it has been a really really long time, can I say something like this:
Long long time no see
↓
ごぶさたしていました
My Japanese friend taught me this and I thought I would verify its correctness on here?

ごぶさたしていました is just a polite way of saying ひさしぶり. There's no difference between them. If you want to emphasize "really really long time", you can simply say "本当に本当にひさしぶり!" or "本当に本当にごぶさたしていました!".
