Phrases to say I like the personality of one person that I meet for short time. When I want to say to other person that I like its the personality. What is a better phrase to say it? In Spanish, here in Perú we say "Me caes bien/super" or "Me caes muy bien" when you have short time to meet. (I'm not mean the phrase to say the first time when you meet someone "Nice to meet you"). Some friends, toll me that in English is used to say "I like you" but... this phrase could be confused with other meaning. Other possibility is "You are nice" but this in Spanish is like "Eres lindo o agradable" but this an adjetive. I would like to know others way to say the similar meaning. Thanks :)

Both of the previous posters are right, of course. I just wanted to chime in and say that the phrase "get on very well" or "get on with" is not as common in American English; we use "get along with" instead. For example: "I got along with him really well." You could also say something like "I really liked meeting you" or "I really enjoyed chatting/talking with you" or "it was a lot of fun to get to know you." Those are pretty neutral expressions. :)

Se puede decir "to get on well with" que se traduce como "llevarse bien con alguien". Por ejemplo - "Carlos es muy amable, nos llevamos muy bien" - Carlos is so friendly, we get on very well, o "me llevo muy bien con él" - I get on very well with him.

Hi Lizeta :) I'm not sure if there's a perfect translation into English for what you're looking for, but I have a couple of suggestions for ways to compliment someone's personality/character, without it coming across as 'flirtatious'. "You're very easy to get along with" - This is a nice way of saying you like someone, without being suggestive. "I enjoy hanging out with you" - Also a nice way to let someone know you like them, but don't necessarily "like them" like them. Of course, anytime you compliment someone's personality, it might come across as more than just friendly. Other parts of your speech and mannerisms can help you drive home that your interest in them is purely as a friend. Hope this helps!
