How do I say police certificate / CRB check / DRB check in Spanish - specifically Colombian Spanish?
I need to get a police certificate / CRB check / DRB check from Colombia. How do I ask for one!? I have been saying 'certificada de buena conducta' - am I asking for the right thing?
I lived in the country for 9 months and need a police check ASAP for a Canadian visa. I will be eternally grateful to anyone who can help me out!

In Colombia is called: "Certificado de antecedentes penales".
You can fill the following form and ask for one.

No soy de Colombia pero en México se le conoce como "informe o certificado de no antecedentes penales". Tengo conocimiento de que en algunos países se le conoce como "informe de antecedentes judiciales".

Hello Jasmine. I am from Colombia. The formal expression is "Certificado Judicial", but It's more common to use "Pasado Judicial" in Colombia. Both of them are correct.

Se llama certificado de penales. Yo tuve que pedirlo en España cuando me fui a vivir a Inglaterra. No era para solicitar visa pero en algunos puestos de trabajo te lo piden.

Hi Jasmine , I´m not from colombia but it´s usually called Certificado de Antecedentes Penales o Informe de antecedentes penales/judiciales in most spainsh speaking countries.
So: Certificado de buena conducta , doesn´t seem right. It would be a paper that says that you´ve behaved well, but i don´t think such thing exists.
