“An bhfuil torthaí ón gcailín?” or “An bhfuil torthaí ón chailín?”
Hi dear Irish speakers! :)
Recently I saw this phrase: “An bhfuil torthaí ón gcailín?” - “Does the girl want fruits?”. But as I know ón = ó + an, and causes lenition. But here it is eclipsed. Is it right, please? And if it must be eclipsed, could you refer me to a rule about it, please?
Thank you all!

Both are correct. It depends on the dialect. In the north of Ireland (Ulster Irish, and perhaps also the Irish of north Mayo) lenition occurs after preposition+article, in the south eclipsis occurs, although even many southern dialects lenite after "sa" ("i" + "an") and "don" ("do" + "an").
