what does the grammar point 在。。。。。中？ i know it doesn't mean centre. i think it means"in the process"?tell me if i am correct.

"In the process" is okay, like " In the process of moving house"＝在搬家中
But I think it may depends on the sentence, like 在雨中哭泣 =crying in the rain.

Yes! You are right! But if we express "在……中"，for reader or listener understand it better, we will use"在……过程中" just like you said"in the process of....."
