there are two jokes in the tv Friends that i don't understand. many thanks for those who help:)
Script1:
[Scene: Monica and Rachel's, the whole gang is there including Janice, they're watching Happy Days.]
Ross: Hey. When you guys were kids and you played Happy Days, who were you? I was always Richie.
Monica: I was always Joanne.
Joey: Question.【Was ah, 'Egg the Gellers!' the war cry of your neighbourhood?】

Script2：
Joey: Oh, and guess what, I got an audition for All My Children.
Phoebe: Oh, yay!
Joey: Yeah, it's this great part, this boxer named Nick. And I'm so, so right for it, y'know, he's just like me. Except he's a boxer, and has an evil twin.
Phoebe: Oh, hey, hey Nick the boxer let's see what you got. All right ya, put 'em up. Come on. (they start shadow boxing)
Joey: Hey, you're ah, pretty good at this.
Phoebe: Yeah, well I had to learn, 【I was staying at the Y and some off the young men weren't acting Christian enough.】

Angela , I only  know the answer  to the second question
 The "Y"  means the YMCA or the Young Men's Christian Association . This is an organization that used provide cheap housing and other things for people who are down on their luck. Today , they have expanded into health clubs and exercise services for everyone. When he says : "not Christian enough" , he was making a joke that some of the people that were staying there  had  behavior was not up to the moral standards that the "Y" can accept.. They might be Christian but their "Christian-ness"  was not good enough .

Q1. I understand the Happy days is a tv 1974-1984, but what does joey mean? Is it because Ross Geller and Monica Geller played the brother and sister Richie and Joanne, other kids think they are dorks and silly and throw egg at them? So everytime other kids see ross and monica, they yelled “(throw) egg (at) the gellers”!

Q2. What is “Y”? And does “christian enough” mean nice enough?
