"Saya kenal X. " Or "Saya kenal denang X"? In my book there is the sentence: "Saya belum kenal denang orang tuamu". In the audio CD, the speaker just says: "Saya belum kenal orang tuamu." Does it have the exact same meaning, or is there some difference?

It's okay. Both have the same meaning of "know" or in this context "making acquaintance". One more thing, the right one is "dengan", not "denang". So, "Saya belum kenal dengan orang tuamu". I hope it helps. Happy learning!
