What are the basic greetings in China?

hello! i think luciusverus has a point, but anyway, in addition to cherry's answer, i've learned that the common greetings in china is "chi guo le ma?" meaning - "have you eaten?". Very authentic yet it's actually how they address their greetings among each other. ~goodluck!

Hello, These are some of the basic greetings in Chinese Mandarin Ni hao? 你好? you good ( literally ) = How are you ? Nimen hao ? how are you ( addressed to 2 persons or more ) 你们好? Ni hao ma? 你好吗? Wo hen hao ,ni ne ? 我很好,你呢 ?= I am very good and you ? zaijian 再见 = good bye zaoan 早安 = good morning zao shang hao 早上好 = good morning
