¿Se dice normalmente "la nariz de mi perro" o "el hocico de mi perro"?

Para mi no son los mismo. La nariz es parte del hocico.
Según RAE:
Parte más o menos saliente de la cara de algunos animales, en que están la boca y las narices.

Normalmente se dice hocico, pero también podrías decir 'la nariz de mi perro' para referirte a los orificios nasales.
