tricks to learn a language
Hello! I'm new on italki and I'm searching new ways to learn english. I'm able to read it (beacause all my textbooks are written in english), but I'm not good in writing and speacking. In your opinion, what are the best ways to improve english skills in everyday life?

Have you thought about the reason behind your poor speaking and writing? (Btw, your writing is fine.) Lack of practices? Without language partners? (You're here, aren't you?)
Have you ever wondered why you have difficulties in speaking and writing, the two skills you need to "output"?
Think about how you acquired your native language. Observe how babies around the world pick up their native languages. Then you realize the essence of language acquisition is simple : copy and repeat.

Practice, practice, practice and if possible get feedback so you know you are doing it right!

Hi, I'm a teacher on italki. The best thing you can do is speak as much as you can with people, especially native speakers. I suggest finding a teacher to work with you in speaking and writing. If that's too much, try a community tutor or finding a free language partner (all on italki). The best practice is speaking as often as you can with native speakers. Writing: you need someone to review it and help you. Practice and more practice will help, but make sure you can have it corrected. Good luck with your language learning!
