What do you think about these sentences when you hear a non-native English speakr say them?
1) Are you shy to me? Are you shy to the camera?
2) Are you shy before me? Are you shy before the camera?

I can understand what you're saying, but it sounds unnatural. I would interpret all three of the examples in the same way:
1) Do I make you shy? Are you shy in front of the camera?

Are you camera shy is the most natural sounding expression in addition to Will's "are you shy in front of the camera"
