Put on makeup, Put some makeup, and Put my makeup Hi guys, I put on makeup. I put on some makeup. I put on my makeup. I understand that they are all correct sentences, but I'd like to know how they are different by putting "some" or "my" before makeup. What kind of situations define which one to use? Thank you in advance.

Hi Sonia. Based on this context, the word "some" means "a little." I put on some makeup (I put on a little makeup). The word "my" shows possession. The makeup belongs to you. I put on my makeup (I put on my blush, lipstick, mascara, etc.). Hope this helps!
