Hi!
Could you explain what is the difference between 날마다/매일 as both mean everyday. Examples would be preferable.

날마다/매일
They are similar but also slightly different.
* 매일 = every day (more widely used, especially in more official settings)
* 날마다 = every day; day by day; day in and day out (sometimes it works better than 매일 in poetic contexts)
Examples:
- 다음 주에는 매일 잔업이 있어요 = You will have overtime work every day next week.
- 이달 들어 매일 비가 내렸다 = It rained every day since the month started.
- 너는 어떻게 날마다 용돈을 달라고 하냐? = How come you're asking for allowance every single day?
- 그녀는 날마다 마을 어귀에 나가 기다렸지만 그는 오지 않았다 = She went out and waited at the entrance of the village day after day, but he never came.
