Answer

The first sentence of each example  is the active voice.  The second sentence of each is the passive voice.  #1, #3, and #4 are correct. In #2 it is more correct to say, "I have a lot of things to get done today because "be done" is passive and I is the active subject.  Which is better -- active or passive -- depends on whether you want to emphasize the actor or the action.

teacher Jan explained it well. Just to add one nuance: "I have a lot of things to be done" does not specify who will do the things (because it's passive). Maybe you have many things that you want other people to do not you.

example: I have a lot of things to be done. Anna, you wash the dishes. Tom, you clean the bathroom.
