輔導教師Facebook reply: Could I use the simple present instead?
Context:
My friend wrote, in Italian, on my Facebook status that he wanted me to give him an Italian lesson. My cousin responded with, "parli l'italiano?"
I want to respond with
No, non parlo bene l'italiano. È solo che il mio amico mi sta dando fastidio.
Thoughts?
