- I'm a friend of Paul's.
- I'm a friend of Paul.
Are both correct? Or only the one with 's is correct?

"I'm a friend of Paul" or "I'm Paul's friend" is correct.
"of" shows possession
You don't need both "of" and 's.
But people say "I'm a friend of Paul's" a lot in spoken English!
