What does "Elbow Greaser" mean in the sentence below? I saw the sentences in job-hunting section of the newspaper. "Elbow Greaser" A person can get anything done with a little elbow grease. And someone's gotta put that grease on the other person's elbow. That someone could be you.(No grease allergies.) I found that "elbow grease" means, it's formulated to remove grease and oil in all situations. But I'm not sure whether it means correctly.

To use some "elbow grease" means to put in a lot of effort or hard work into a task, usually for manual labour type work. I have never heard of someone being called an "elbow greaser" as a pronoun though and it is definitely not natural to say to put elbow grease on someone else because it only refers to your own action being described.

'Elbow grease" is an expression you can use instead of "hard work" or a "lot of energy" :)

It’s means working hard at manual labour.

Elbow grease is just a way of saying hard work. I think it comes from the idea that if you are working hard with your hands - digging, say, or cleaning, your elbow might need grease in the same was a machine needs grease to keep it lubricated. I've never heard "elbow greaser" used but I suppose it just means "someone who makes sure everyone is working hard"
