Are there any different between 'du und ich' and ' ich und du'? In english, we normally say 'You and me'. So, Are there any different between 'du und ich' and ' ich und du' in german? Thank you in advance.

In general you do not mention yourself first, this is true for English and German. 'Mein Freund und ich' instead of 'ich und mein Freund'. It's as well not good to start many sentences with 'ich' (same in English regarding 'I'), makes you seem to be self-centered or egoistic.

"Ich und du" is sometimes considered impolite because you're putting yourself in the first position, "du und ich" isn't.
