As Fehma Z sad, advice is a noun and advise is a verb. So, when you advise someone, you give them advice. Advice is a thing offered or given, such as a suggested course of action or tip for how to improve. To advise is the action of offering suggestions.

Hi! So in this case, advice is a noun (what you are given when you need help or somebody’s opinion). ie I need some advice on what to wear. On the other hand, advise is a verb (which is the action of giving your opinion to help another person) ie she advised me on how to do my taxes. Hope that helps!
