In English, what's the right way of saying "the middle-left/right" portion of a picture?
As said in the question, I'd like to point the reader's attention to a specific part of a painting: it is a little bit to the right hand side from the center point. How should I say it in English? Is "middle-left/right" a word? Thanks!

Middle-left/right is correct, as would it be correct to say left-center, right-center, left/right of center.
Great work!

You can say "left of center" or "right of center".
You could also say "off to the left" or "off to the right". Like this: If you look at the center of the painting. You'll see the _____ off to right.
