The counterpart of "(하)느라" could be "while~ing" or "~ing" in English meaning "be in the middle of something for some reason"
Here are some examples.
한국어 공부하+느라 바쁘다.
I am so busy studying Korean.
("studying Korean" is the reason why I am so busy)
난 어제 술먹+느라 밤샜어.
I stayed up all night drinking yesterday.
("drinking" is the reason why I stayed up all night yesterday)
하루종일 에세이쓰+느라 피곤하다.
I have been tired while writing an essay all day long.
