そして、どちらが多く使われていますか？

「負う」＝be charged with
「担う」＝shoulder
「担ぐ」＝carry
例.1 「責任（せきにん・responsibility）を負う」
例.2 「次世代（じせだい・next generation）を担う」
どちらが多く使われるということはありません。その時その時で使い分けます。
