Hey Loraine. I have two books myself and I think that they're good. "Oxford Dictionary of English Idioms" and "Oxford Dictionary of Phrasal Verbs" Good luck!

"Really Learn 100 Phrasal Verbs," ISBN: 0194317447. Very good for mastering the most common PVs. For idioms, you should just look at the various lists on the web (search with Google).
