How to use "though" and "although" ?

though, although and even though are conjunction. they have as the same meaning as "in spite of" and "despite". but there's a difference between them: you should bring after although, though and even though a verb like : although it rained a lot , we went on vacation. even though i hadn't had anything for 10 hours,i couldn't eat anything! but after "in spite of" and "despite" usually comes a noun or gerund.like: in spite of raining a lot , we went on vacation. also, though is used in informal English as "but". it's a small house.i like the garden , though.
